Opportunity Summary 

Every year Braid Mission receives thousands of cards from around the country for our Cards of Hope program, which distributes handwritten cards to foster youth. Volunteers help log, sort, and screen these cards to make sure they’re appropriate.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

They will understand more about the experience of foster care.

Opportunity Training 

We have a brief orientation as well as written instructions for new volunteers. We will also be present during their first volunteer session to answer questions.

There are 22 stairs up to our workspace

Opportunity Application Instructions 

We will conduct a phone interview when we hear from a student that they are interested.
