Support Budding High School Entrepreneurs at Classroom Events At BUILD.orgAt — BUILD.org
BUILD is a national education nonprofit that began in the Bay Area in 1999. We partner with schools in under-resourced communities to teach students how to create a business, develop an entrepreneurial mindset, and build social capital.
One-off Event Volunteers provide feedback to high school students as they create and fine-tune their businesses. Volunteers can choose a role to serve in at events such as: Idea Pitch Judge, Marketing Campaign Advisor, Mock Investor, etc. This position will be an in-person role at our partner high schools in Oakland and Redwood City. Volunteers will be in the classroom for 1-3 hours depending on the event. All events take place during the high school hours.
Volunteers who are interested in this role can sign up for one or more of the events here: https://build.volunteerlocal.com/volunteer/?id=66451. The event descriptions, locations, dates, and times can be found in this sign-up link. This BUILD website link also describes all of the roles for BUILD events.
