At our clinic, you'll step into a playful, hands-on environment where swings, obstacle courses, and sensory games aren’t just fun—they’re powerful therapeutic tools. You’ll work alongside passionate occupational therapists who are eager to teach, mentor, and help you connect your academic background to real-world impact. You won’t just be observing—you’ll help set up activities, learn how to adapt environments, and get a front-row seat to how we improve motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities.

Understand basic developmental milestones in motor, sensory, cognitive, and social-emotional domains. Recognize common pediatric diagnoses (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy) and their general impact on occupational performance. Identify typical vs. atypical movement patterns and postural control in children.
General orientation to clinic and procedures. Orientation and training on direct duties to help with setup/clean up of sessions and supporting therapists. Training to facilitate or work directly with a child when appropriate under direct supervision of therapists.
