SUD Internship At — Second Chance Recovery
“At Second Chance, we don’t just talk about recovery — we live it. We’re a grassroots counseling and treatment center where students don’t sit on the sidelines; they work hands-on with real people rebuilding their lives. Our interns learn how to engage clients battling substance use, trauma, and co-occurring disorders, while also building the clinical and human skills that textbooks can’t teach. You’ll gain direct experience in group facilitation, case management, relapse prevention, and community outreach — all while making a tangible difference in the lives of people who need it most. If you’re serious about becoming a skilled, compassionate counselor or therapist, Second Chance is where you’ll grow fast, learn deeply, and see what true recovery work looks like.”
