Grantwriting InternAt — Building Opportunities for Self-Sufficiency (BOSS)

Opportunity Summary 

Building Opportunities for Self-Sufficiency (BOSS) is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to ending mass homelessness, mass incarceration, and community violence. BOSS provides shelter, housing, education, employment, health/mental health, violence intervention/prevention, trauma recovery, and community healing services to people in need throughout Alameda County. The development office of BOSS (which conducts fundraising and marketing) is seeking a Grantwriting Intern (unpaid) to assist with researching grant opportunities, writing proposals, submitting and tracking proposals, and other aspects of grants management.

Opportunity Training 

The Chief Development Officer will provide orientation to BOSS and training on the specific tasks required in this role.
