Opportunity Summary 

Kala Brand Music Co. is seeking Content Creator Interns to join our marketing team. This role focuses on creating engaging, platform-native content across social channels, with an emphasis on both short-form video and visually compelling still imagery. The best candidates will be college juniors or seniors with social media experience, creativity, and enthusiasm for musical instruments, eager to share and execute on content ideas across our extensive line of quality products.

Opportunity Training 

Students will receive onboarding focused on the company's products, brand guidelines, content strategy, and social media platforms. During initial projects, the supervisor will guide the student through each stage of the content creation process, including concept development, production, editing, feedback implementation, file organization, and content publishing. Training will also cover best practices for content creation, brand consistency, and professional communication within a marketing team.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

This internship is primarily remote and computer-based. No unusual health or safety risks are anticipated beyond those associated with standard office and computer work, including extended periods of screen time. Students may occasionally assist with content creation involving musical instruments, product photography, or event coverage. No significant safety risks are anticipated, and appropriate supervision will be provided.

Students must apply with their resume, cover letter, and include 3–5 examples of content they’ve created (TikTok, Reels, or image-based posts). This role is limited to candidates based in the following states: California, Oregon, Hawaii, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Students will have one 15 minute phone call interview. Candidates that move on to the next step will then have a video call interview with additional members of the team.
