Opportunity Summary 

Come support our mission to inspire the innovator in everyone in our leading science and technology center in downtown San Jose. Students can work in the exhibit galleries facilitating STEM hands-on activities with visitors while stationed at fun Pop-Ups, Jetpack Chair, or our Social Robots or Anatomage exhibits. Or if you prefer general public facing work as a museum greeter, you can help welcome and orient guests in the lobby area, support wayfinding for visitors, or check tickets as well as usher for the IMAX dome theater.

Opportunity Training 

Student receive orientation and training depending on their assignment, with site primary contact, and then with a direct supervisor or mentor on program or project specifics.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Students are trained in safety protocols that Staff or security team are responsible for administering.
