Opportunity Summary 

Join Hilton Garden Inn & Homewood Suites Alameda for a hands-on internship in hotel operations and management. Interns will gain practical experience across key areas including front office, guest services, sales, food & beverage, housekeeping operations, and hotel administration. Students will work alongside hotel leadership, learn Hilton brand standards, participate in daily operations, and gain exposure to revenue, service, and operational decision-making. This internship is designed for students interested in building a career in hospitality, hotel management, business, or related fields.

Opportunity Training 

Students will receive orientation and hands-on training in hotel operations, Hilton brand standards, guest service, workplace safety, front office procedures, hotel systems, and departmental operations. Training will include job shadowing and guided instruction from hotel management and department leaders. Additional training will be provided as students rotate through relevant operational areas.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Students will receive workplace safety and emergency procedure training during orientation. They will be informed of emergency exits, evacuation procedures, workplace safety expectations, and procedures for reporting hazards or incidents. Students will work under the supervision of hotel management and trained team members in a professional hotel environment.

Interested students should submit a resume and brief statement of interest in hospitality and hotel management. Qualified candidates will be invited to interview with hotel management. Prior hotel experience is not required. We are seeking motivated students interested in gaining hands-on experience in hotel operations, guest services, sales, food & beverage, and management.
