Undergraduate InternAt — Women's Resource Center
The Undergraduate Intern support the Women's Resource Center's marketing, communications, and community engagement efforts through content creation, digital storytelling, and promotional activities. This internship provides hands-on experience in nonprofit communications, social media strategy, content development, community outreach, and fundraising efforts. This intern will assist with projects that increase awareness of agency programs, services, events, volunteer opportunities, and fundraising initiatives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Social Media Content Creation: - Assist with creating content for social media platforms. - Develop captions, graphics, photos, and video content. - Support content planning and scheduling - Help maintain a library of digital content and marketing materials Marketing and Communications: - Support awareness campaigns, events, and fundraising initiatives - Assist with blog writing, storytelling, and promotional materials - Research social media trends and engagement opportunities - Help ensure content aligns with agency branding and messaging Community Engagement: - Assist with highlighting agency programs, services, volunteers, and community impact - Support outreach and community engagement efforts as assigned - Attend agency events and assist with content capture when appropriate Other: - Comply with General Agency Responsibilities - At all times demonstrate ability to work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines - At all times demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues, clients, volunteers, supervisors, and administrators - Other duties as assigned
No Mandated Reporter Training required or provided. 80 Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Training provided.
Student will be required to lift heavy boxes, carry outreach materials including pop-up tent.
