Pet Care ProviderAt — Michelson Found Animals Adopt & Shop
We are a nonprofit organization with the mission of saving pets and enriching lives. MFA rescues cats and dogs from local, high-kill shelters to house, care for, and adopt out from our store Adopt & Shop. Pet care providers interact directly with our pets, helping with tasks such as cat condo cleaning, dog walking, dog/cat feeding, and dog/cat enrichment.
Additional Instructions/Information
All volunteers are required to commit to a minimum of 3 months of service, contributing a minimum of 8 hours per month.

Working with animals, there is present the risk of being scratched or bitten. All pets accessible to volunteers receive their rabies vaccine (when due). Volunteers also work with harsh chemicals (disinfectant), which may result in damage to the skin in the event of direct contact. Volunteers are provided gloves and required to use them whenever handling such chemicals.
