Organization Description

The vision of Leah's Pantry is to provide support to all Californians who want to live a healthy life. Our programs encourage cooking at home, eating lots of fruits and veggies, being a "bright spot" in our communities, and keeping our bodies active. We run cooking and nutrition workshops and training programs, manage eatfresh.org, and get involved in all sorts of special projects.

Program Information

Assistance in conducting cooking and nutrition classes in SRO hotels, summer programs and senior centers. Tabling and supporting outreach activities at health fairs and community events. Shopping, data entry and processing paperwork. Helping to keep supplies and materials organized and inventoried. Helping to conduct evaluations and surveys. Attending a variety of trainings and meetings about nutrition and food justice activities in SF.
