Our building was vandalized by white supremacists, with racist rhetoric being posted on our building back in April. I suspect this is an outlier event, nothing like this has happened in the 13 years I have worked here. https://lbpost.com/news/white-supremacist-flyers-propaganda-bixby-knolls In addition, given the current state of the pandemic, "in-person" at the TALB building events will be limited.
Some of our members are retired with hearing disabilities. Some are not that computer savvy. The Executive Director, Assistant Executive Director and or the TALB President will be directly involved with assisting and supporting students.
There are a variety of ways to engage. Some of the field work is research oriented surrounding historical events, current and past. Some of the field work will involve looking at art, film and literature. The accountability piece will be submitting short essays via email. Pandemic conditions allowing, there may also be in person experience regarding volunteering in civic engagement as well as political campaigns.

8-5 Monday-Thursday 8:00-4:30 on Friday. We are holding our meetings virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Students can engage in our activites through Zoom, our website, www.talb.org and our social media.
