Organization Description
Who We Are A grassroots movement of young people providing free online tutoring to under-resourced elementary school students. We began the movement after seeing millions of students falling behind during the pandemic and knew we had to help. The long term effects of covid learning loss will be felt for years to come and we are at a crucial point to get them back on track. Step Up Tutoring’s mission is to drive student success in under-resourced communities by providing free online tutoring and mentorship to 3rd - 6th grade students within the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD).

- Computer Literacy
- RISK: Students will be supervised less than 50% of the time or the supervisor will be responsible for overseeing more than 8 people.
- SITE REQUIREMENT: Students are not allowed to take pictures or video.
- SITE REQUIREMENT: Students will be asked to sign a confidentiality waiver.
