Partnership for Children (P4K)

Organization Description

Partnership for Children believes that all children should have access to the healthcare and
emotional support they need to live their lives as fully as possible. Our mission is to increase access
to medical care for children living with serious illness and to support their families. Our programs and
services include Transportation to Medical Care (rides and gas cards), Financial Assistance (rent
payment assistance, basic living needs, funeral assistance), Groceries & Goods (grocery delivery,
household, health, and hygiene goods), Practical Support (diapers & wipes, car seats, Back-to-
School backpacks & supplies), and Happy Happenings (Birthdays, Valentine's Day, Easter Hoptopia, Back-to-School, Miles of Smiles Holiday Program).
 

Program Information

We have various opportunities for services/projects, including:

Program Evaluation: Conduct annual family feedback survey interviews and report on results.

Technology/Marketing: Website and social media content creation.

Groceries & Goods: Deliver groceries and goods to families.

Practical Support

  • Diapers: Organize diapers and wipes drives.
  • Back-to-School: Coordinate backpack and supplies donations and deliveries.

Happy Happenings:

  • Create a special occasion project and implement with advisement.
  • Birthday Program: Create birthday cards for children on service and prepare for mailing.
  • Valentine's Day: Create cards for children and families on service and prepare for mailing.
  • Easter: Create gift baskets/bags for children and coordinate deliveries.
  • Miles of Smiles Holiday Program: October through December; Work on holiday program providing toys, gifts, pajamas, warm hats, socks, books, and stockings to children living with serious illness and their siblings.
