Utah’s Division of Archives and Records Service helps state agencies and local governments manage their records and care for historical government documents, while also promoting the goals of transparency and open government. Today, the Archives houses the valuable records of state and local governments, elected officials, state courts, educational institutions, and special service districts. Our archivists continuously work to provide access to the permanent government records of Utah.

The Santa Clara County Water District, now known as Valley Water, was founded in 1929 and provides safe, clean water to residents and businesses all across Santa Clara County, as well as flood protection and stewardship of its streams.
