Organization Description

To help individuals reach optimal health and function without unnecessary medication or surgery. (Physical Therapy Practice)

Program Information

Observe therapists and therapist's staff; as needed assist with clean up/ sanitization between patients, and folding laundry.

By the end of this opportunity, students will have learned: an overview of what a physical therapist working in an out-patient setting does and the types of conditions treated.

Health & Safety

Exposure to disinfectants used to sanitize between clients. To minimize risks PPE is worn (supplied). Otherwise there are no other known safety risks.
