Program Information

Tasks/activities students will be performing for this opportunity:

The student will be working with our after-school program, visit other Park and Recreation programs, and work on a project(s) that will benefit both the student experience and agency. These will be agreed to as laid out in the academic requirements.

By the end of this opportunity, students will have learned:

At the end of the internship, the student will have experience working in a small Park and Recreation department that provides various services to the community. Work experience and projects will enhance a resume, and mentorship from current professionals will help define students' career goals.

Health & Safety

Potential of changing health orders that impact intern and programs. Working with children. All County and State health regulations to COVID will be in place.
