Program Information

Counseling Interns meet with students individually and in small groups to discuss and explore college majors, careers and coursework required to complete their educational path. Academic and career counseling is the primary focus, and workshop preparation/facilitation and classroom teaching opportunities are also available.

By the end of this opportunity, students will have learned: How to effectively provide academic and career counseling for community college students. How to prepare for and facilitate workshops and lesson plans.
