Youth Community Service (YCS)

Organization Description

Since 1990, Youth Community Service (YCS) has worked with middle and high school aged youth to build bridge between communities through youth service. Service in the community fosters connectedness which supports young people as they grow into resilient, thriving, adults.

Program Information

Student intern will be conducting a research project to identify evaluation tools, scales, and strategies for service-learning programing with youth. By the end of this opportunity, the student intern will have learned how to create a landscape assessment of similar organizations and how to formally make an evaluation recomendation.

Health & Safety

SUPERVISION: The current research position we have open (summer 2021) is a remote position. There will be regularly scheduled check ins with email communication.

  • SUPERVISION: Students will be supervised less than 50% of the time.
