Immaculate Conception Academy - ICA Cristo Rey

Organization Description

We are a Cristo Rey high school in San Francisco. Although Immaculate Conception Academy has been around since 1883, ICA Cristo Rey (the new program) has only been in effect since 2009. Students are required to work 5 days a month to help offset the cost of tuition and to keep their tuition affordable. Every student is part of this work program and still earns a college prep education. Our goal is to serve the community that might not always have access to this type of education.

Program Information

Student intern will be supervised in the Guidance Department by a counselor who has a PPS credential. Student intern will observe all the different counselors, have their own caseload, participate in school activities and immerse themselves in the school culture.
