Organization Description

The University of Denver Athletic Communications and Digital Media department promotes our student-athletes and athletic programs’ achievements athletically, academically and in the community through the local and national media, DenverPioneers.com and on our social media channels. We provide the opportunity to increase our brand through all mediums both within the University community and externally.

Program Information

Duties include:
1. Communicate with Media Relations staff to prepare and distribute team-specific materials and information before and after events.
2. Handle statistical research projects for the communications office.
3. Create social media graphics, including, but not limited to the statistical research projects.
4. Handle social media research/data to develop suggestions of what is working and what isn’t on social media from the previous weeks

By the end of this opportunity, student intern will have learned: the behind the scenes of how social media works in a Division I athletic department...experience in photo shop and the creation of graphics...statistical research skills.
