Pivotal Connections

Organization Description

Pivotal supports young people in and from foster care to realize their educational and career goals and ensure their equitable access to the opportunities to do so. We envision a community in which every young person in foster care gets the education, career, and life they want for themselves. Pivotal works alongside government, non-profits, schools, and employers to change the status quo for foster youth.

Health & Safety

We are all working remotely, so I will not be able to supervise in the sense of having eyes on the individual. We do have policies to ensure that volunteers are on our communication tool (teams) while working remotely and I (as well as other appointed colleagues) will be availble for support/questions/etc. during the times volunteer is working.

Additional requirements and/or considerations
  • Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
  • SUPERVISION: Students will be supervised less than 50% of the time.
