Organization Description

Intercollegiate Athletics is an integral part of the University and exists to promote the common good through athletic competition by providing equitable opportunities for men and women to compete at the NCAA Division I Level. The athletics program strives to create a diverse and inclusive environment emphasizing academics, compliance, student-athlete welfare, fair play, sportsmanship and Spartan Pride.

Program Information

Our organization consists of two student-athletes from each team that is sponsored through SJSU Athletics. We have an executive board consisting of 6 students. We put on events for the department, provide life skills and career preparedness presentations, facilitate community service, and serve as a bridge between student-athletes and the athletics administration.

We are only able to accept student-athletes who have been nominated by their coaches to be a part of SAAC.
