Organization Description

We are a Federally Qualified Health Center. Our mission is to improve the health of the community by providing culturally sensitive, integrated primary and preventative health care to all, regardless of ability to pay or immigration status, and collaborating with community partners to address the social determinants of health.

Health & Safety

RFHN provides care within the City of East Palo Alto addressing the medical and dental needs of a low income ethnic minority population of all ages that have many health disparities due to underlying social determinants of health factors. Majority are immigrants with English as a 2nd language or monolingual non-English speaking but also include patients that are homeless, that have mental health and substance use disorders and the formerly incarcerated.

No photography or recording is allowed to protect the privacy of our patients and staff except by express permission of the people being photographed or recorded.

  • POPULATION SERVED: Students will be working with "behaviorally challenged" populations.
  • POPULATION SERVED: Students will be working with individuals who have a known criminal background or history of violent behavior.
