Organization Description

At Salud Para La Gente (Salud) is a nonprofit healthcare organization with clinics in Santa Cruz County and North Monterey County. As a ‘health home,’ we’ve made it our mission to provide high quality, comprehensive, and cost effective healthcare that is responsive to the needs of the communities we serve. We seek to ensure quality healthcare to all in need, and make sure we are where our community needs care.

Health & Safety

SUPVERVISION: I supervise more than 8 people in the department. However, the intern will be provided with adequate 1 on 1 time with me. The intern will also have time to work with an assigned Community Health Worker for more follow up and support.

  • Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
  • Computer Literacy
  • Driver's License
  • Health Check/Screening (e.g. temperature screening, COVID-19 test)
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Vaccinations
  • SUPERVISION: Students' supervisor be responsible for overseeing more than 8 people.
