LifeMoves is dedicated to helping homeless families and individuals across Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Peninsula return to self-sufficiency and permanent housing. We work extensively with other nonprofits and community groups to meet all the needs of the families and individuals we serve

Health & Safety

We serve homeless clients who have experienced incarceration and mental health challenges in the past. Our clients are all in our programs on a voluntary basis and if they are participating in a student led workshop it is of their own will. LifeMoves staff will be on site to assist students.

There will always be a LifeMoves staff on site and available to assist students. However, a staff person may not participate in the workshops that are being hosted by students. The safety of our clients and the students is a priority.

  • Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
  • Computer Literacy
  • Health Check/Screening (e.g. temperature screening, COVID-19 test)
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Pre-Placement Training
  • TB Test
  • Vaccinations
  • POPULATION SERVED: Students will be working with "behaviorally challenged" populations.
  • POPULATION SERVED: Students will be working with individuals who have a known criminal background or history of violent behavior.
  • SUPERVISION: Students will be supervised less than 50% of the time.
