Turning Green

Organization Description

Turning Green is a global student-led movement devoted to cultivating a healthy, just, resilient planet through education and advocacy around climate justice, environmental sustainability, and public health. We educate, empower, and mobilize students to become catalysts for change in their local communities. Conscious Kitchen, a program of Turning Green, addresses food equity, education, and access by partnering with schools to shift conventional food services to meals based on six foundational attributes: fresh, local, organic, seasonal, nutritious and zero waste.
