Grey Bears

Organization Description

Grey Bears’ mission is to improve the health and well-being of seniors and our community through food deliveries, volunteerism, and recycling. Since 1973 our Healthy food for Seniors program delivers fresh bags of produce to close to 4,000 Santa Cruz county's seniors every week. It has grown to include more of the community including veterans, farmworkers, and evacuated communities as needed. Additionally, Grey Bears picks up donated food items from over 20 different stores. This recovery effort redistributes food out to the community via food distributions and hot meals.
