Martha's Kitchen

Organization Description

Martha's Kitchen, for over four decades, has been an unwavering pillar of support, providing over 2.5 million meals to those in need this past year. Our food programs provide support to those who are unhoused, as well as seniors, veterans, at-risk youth, low-income families, and anyone ensnared in the viscous cycle of food insecurity. Currently, between our hot meal and grocery programs we provide 250,000 meals each month to those in need and we rescue over 35,000 pounds of food each month through our food rescue program.

Health & Safety

We cater to individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those who might have a mental health condition or face behavioral challenges. As a result, student volunteers serving meals may interact with these individuals. To ensure everyone's safety, a security officer is always present during our primary meal services, and our site supervisor is continually on duty.
