Organization Description

Since 2013, the Del Paso Heights Growers’ Alliance (DPHGA) has been committed to advancing social equity and justice in disadvantaged communities in Sacramento and California. We envision a world with climate-resilient families, healthy communities, and thriving ecosystems. Our mission is to build sustainable neighborhoods and economies through policy, advocacy, and experiential education.

Health & Safety

We work at various locations in North Sacramento and Del Paso Heights, due to the high population of those living outside it is important to be situationally aware and practice safety measures.

Students may perform independent tasks and expected to work on their own to complete tasks.

  • Driver's License
  • Must be 18 or older
  • SITE LOCATION: The site is in a high-crime area or there are concerns about the parking and work areas being secure or adequately illuminated.
  • SITE LOCATION: There are concerns about the site's physical location; such as physical, environmental, or inherent hazards that are not addressed adequately by training and security measures.
  • SUPERVISION: Students will be supervised less than 50% of the time.
