Breastfeeding Sisters That Are Receiving Support (BSTARS)

Organization Description

BSTARS is a self-funded, non-profit, based out of Memphis, TN an 12 year old organization that gained non profit status back in 2017. Our mission is to support and offer space for African-Descent (or Black) families to build community and trust surrounding reproductive justice topics, especially- lactation support. BSTARS offers a monthly meeting with a health observance theme and the membership is free. Dinner is provided for families. We published in 2021.
