Organization Description

The Carondelet Consolidated Archives of the Sisters of the St. Joseph of Carondelet preserves and shares the history, spirit and memory of the congregation. The purpose of the archives is to identify, collect, arrange, preserve and make available to qualified researchers official and non-current administrative records and other historical materials relating to the governance, ministries and members of the congregation.

Health & Safety

The archives are a fragrance-free facility. We ask all staff, volunteers, interns, and visitors to refrain from wearing scented personal products (ex. perfume, cologne, many laundry detergents) while on-site. Staff, volunteers, and interns are not allowed to wear nail polish or use hand lotion while working so that the products do not accidentally mark any historic documents.
