Program Information

Enloe Medical Center is a patient-centered care hospital.  The MSW intern will work with a broad population in all aspects of medical Social Work within the hospital.  The intern will spend time shadowing MSW's and then will work with patients on their own.  The student intern should have a strong desire for a medical social work career.

Clearance through human resources

Health & Safety

Students will be working in the hospital setting and Emergency Dept. There is ability to be exposed to all types of cuminicable illness. We provide the appropriate PPE for protection and assess the students ability to engage with patients with such illnesses.

  • Computer Literacy
  • Health Check/Screening (e.g. temperature screening, COVID-19 test)
  • Must be 18 or older
  • TB Test
  • Vaccinations
