Program Information

Learning opportunities for a student intern include:

  • Research skills in data collection & analysis
  • Program development & program evaluation
  • Evidence based practices & grant requirements
  • Data analysis & presenting findings

BSW students will work with adoptions, foster care, family needs

MSW students will work with mobile mental health crisis, justice involved people with mental health and/or substance concerns, and homelessness

Both BSW & MSW will work with service delivery & challenges for rural areas

Prospective students should have the ability to work independently, be able to take direction and follow through, be self-motivated, take initiative, and be organized. The student intern should have basic research skills & interest to expand on those skills, good communication and strong writing skills. 

This will be a remote placement - therefore good internet services & Zoom capability is a must.
