Program Information

School Based Counseling (SBC) is a collaboration between Youth for Change, Paradise Unified School District, and Butte County Department of Behavioral Health. SBC has a therapist located at each of the schools in the Paradise/Magalia area. The program provides therapeutic services to eligible students (full scope Medi-Cal) referred by Paradise Unified School District, teachers, and/or families. Services include screening, diagnosis, individual, group, and family therapy. School based therapists are Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, and Associate Clinical Social Workers with clinical supervision by the Youth for Change.
