The LEAF Company

Program Information

The LEAF company is a post adoption wraparound service with a love-based methodology. Our Wraparound agency provides intense therapeutic and trauma-responsive education for adoptive parents who are in crisis and are at risk of a failed adoption. Learning opportunities for students include joining the clinical care team of at-risk adoptive families to assist the household in creating a therapeutic environment to promote health and well-being for the entire household.

Our mission and vision: To reduce the stress on the adoptive parents teaching them how to be therapeutically available to their children, engaging the entire family unit in the healing process. To be the flagship model for how adopted children are raised, parented, and treated within the community, inspiring all families to create love, connection, and belonging.

Students must be able and willing to uphold our mission and vision and value relationships, responsibility, integrity, and love.

Health & Safety

Consider the population of traumatized children and their families that students will be supporting. Adoptive families seek wraparound support to prevent a failed adoption or the need for their child to be placed in a residential treatment facility. Students will work with these families directly inside and outside their homes and should expect severe behavioral concerns.
