Organization Description

The mission of Lutheran Social Services (LSS) is to promote stability and honor the dignity of those we serve by providing supportive housing services that lead to self-sufficiency.

Program Information

Training in best practices including Trauma Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing and Harm Reduction. Opportunity to practice social work including group and individual meetings, referral to community resources, development of care plans. 

The student intern should be willing to work with unhoused individuals in community settings and in participant homes.
