Organization Description

The Waymakers Tustin Youth Shelter is a short-term crisis intervention residential program for youth ages 12-17. The program provides a "safe-respite" and immediate services to teens struggling with trauma, experiencing significant familial conflict, or at-risk of hospitalization from a suicide attempt or threat. The primary goals are to stabilize the youth and facilitate family reunification.

Program Information

Students role with our residents is to serve as a mentor and assist our staff with providing supervision, safety, prevention education and social skills building activities in order to assist them in stabilizing and reunifying with their family.
