The Switzer Learning Center

Organization Description

Switzer students range from fourth graders to young adults up to 22 years of age and come from over a dozen different school districts in the Los Angeles South Bay area. After they have struggled educationally, emotionally, and behaviorally in more traditional school settings, special education students are referred to Switzer Learning Center to obtain the special attention they needed to succeed against seemingly overwhelming obstacles.

Program Information

The student will work in the classroom and provide individual support. Other duties such as yard duty, homework packets, and more may be assigned as well.
