Intern At — Housing Authority of the City of Alameda

Opportunity Summary

AHA plans to hire 4 interns this summer, each working 32 hours per week for 8 weeks.  We understand that interns may not have a lot of experience in their respective departments or within the affordable housing industry, but an ideal candidate has at least some experience working in roles that are either adjacent to their field of interest or have gained skills that will translate to this role and help them succeed. These skills include but are not limited to: understanding policies and procedures, doing research, working collaboratively and effectively with others, and being able to work independently once instructions or guidelines have been provided.
