The Housing Authority of the City of Alameda (AHA) advocates for and provides quality, affordable, safe housing; encourages self-sufficiency; and builds community partnerships. For over 80 years, AHA has provided a range of housing assistance to low-income households in this San Francisco Bay Area city of 76,000. AHA's vision is to continue to be recognized for creatively seeking ways to expand the availability of affordable housing throughout Alameda, for caring professional staff, and excellent service. Its guiding principles commit the agency to building engaged, supportive communities through ongoing collaboration with customers and community partners.
