Formerly operated by the City of Oakland's Parks & Recreation Department, O.F.R.C - while still owned by the City of Oakland - is now operated by Camps in Common, a non-profit who's mission is to promote and celebrate connections between nature, family and community while creating unique opportunities to advance environmental awareness, cultural diversity, and youth empowerment.
