Union City's Community and Recreation Services department provides recreation and leisure services to our entire community. We operate the Holly Community Center, Kennedy Community Center, Ruggieri Senior Center, Sports Center, Teen Center, Teen Workshop and, in the Summer, the Dan Oden Swim Complex in Union City. Our mission statement is to provide exceptional facilities, services, and programs that are inclusive, safe, fun and enhance the quality of life in our community.

CodeAdvantageis an education company that offers in-person video game design, coding, Lego robotics, and other STEM classes to elementary school students. We typically hire college students to teach the classes which provides them with a way to build their resumes and gain relevant and valuable work experience working with the National Leader in After-School Coding and Robotics Education.

Cohere Health is illuminating healthcare for patients, their doctors, and all those who are important in a patient’s healthcare experience, both in and out of the doctors office. Founded in August, 2019, we are obsessed with eliminating wasteful friction patients and doctors experience in areas that have nothing to do with health and treatment, particularly for diagnoses that require expensive procedures or medications. To that end, we build software that is expressly designed to ensure the appropriate plan of care is understood and expeditiously approved, so that patients and doctors can focus on health, rather than payment or administrative hassles.

Founded in 1997, College Track is a national non-profit organization that empowers students to achieve their dream of a college education. This organization exists to increase high school graduation, college enrollment, and college graduation rates among students from low-income communities, thereby closing the achievement gap and creating a college-going culture for students who are under-represented in higher education. By providing comprehensive college access services to students over the course of 8-10 years, College Track ensures that each of its students has the resources necessary to get into and graduate from college. College Track will support close to 2,600 high school and college students at centers in East Palo Alto, Oakland, San Francisco, Sacramento, New Orleans (LA), Aurora, Denver (CO) and Los Angeles.

In 2002, seeking to combat historic forces of inequity and discrimination, our community banded with legal advocates to form Community Legal Services in East Palo Alto. Our mission is to provide transformative legal services that enable diverse communities in East Palo Alto and beyond to achieve a secure and thriving future. To that end, we specialize in three legal areas – immigration, housing, and economic advancement – and partner with grassroots community groups, schools, churches, and other local organizations.

Contra Costa Health Plan (CCHP) is a county-sponsored health-maintenance organization (or HMO) that provides managed care for more than 200,000 people in the county. CCHP is the primary managed-care provider for Medi-Cal beneficiaries in Contra Costa and we also manage smaller plans for county employees and homecare workers.
