As the chair of the Alameda County Democratic Central Committee (ACDCC), I am running for re-election (on the March 5 ballot) in Assembly District 14. Following March 7, we are happy to develop a program in which the applicant could support the operation of the ACDCC.

LARPD provides parks and recreation to a population of approximately 83,000 residents. Offering 42 neighborhood parks, 12 sports field facilities, an indoor gymnasium, two aquatics centers there is a myriad of recreational activities for the community to engage in. The recreation department specifically offers a variety of sports and fitness classes/camps/leagues for ages 3-80+. We host special events for the youth such as Boo Bash, Donuts with Santa, Pee Wee Track Meet, Daddy/Daughter Dance, etc. The gymnasium is host to multiple LARPD programs as well as a rentable facility for basketball, volleyball, pickleball, birthday parties, etc.

Legarza programs give children the knowledge and motivation they need to achieve their personal best in sport and life. Over 200,000 of the Bay Area's youth have experienced and benefitted from our 32-year, proven and tested system. Our program is tailored to help your young athlete succeed on and off the court in a safe, professional and encouraging environment of learning and fun. All of our camps offer a solid foundation of fundamental skill development for beginning players and a strong challenge for advanced players. Players are grouped by age, gender, ability and personal request. We use a Mastery Orientation of teaching, which celebrates improvement as much as accomplishment and focuses on personal development. Our teaching progression takes into account age and skill differences.
