Since 2007, Grandma’s House of Hope has been providing housing and wrap-around services to single adult men and women who historically have fallen through the cracks. Our mission is to reach those who have been cast aside and moved into the shadows of our society due to their disabilities, illnesses, addictions, incarceration, and trauma histories. In order to effectively reach these individuals, we remove barriers to housing and services.

Our mission is to unlock the potential of golf course space by harmonizing the successful operation of our golf business with ecological stewardship and community benefit through innovative, measurable environmental practices, inclusive, results-driven social initiatives and inspired design. Corica Park, Greenway’s flagship property in Alameda, California, is testament to our efforts to model how golf courses can be redesigned and successfully operated as places for flora, fauna and all people to flourish. By harmonizing exceptional golf experiences, eco-driven stewardship, equity-focused programs, and sound fiscal management, our ongoing mission is to open up Corica Park—in a welcoming and inclusive manner—in service of the entire Alameda community and its visitors.

Learning experience varies by site. For our construction sites, you will learn various tasks related to home construction and green building. In our ReStores, you will learn about retail operations. In our Playhouse Workshops, you will learn about woodshop carpentry and tools.

We are Hayward Unified School District Youth Enrichment Program (YEP). We collaborate with students and families to create equitable holistic programs through family and community engagement, health and wellness, and expanded learning.

Health Access is the statewide health care consumer advocacy coalition, advocating for quality, affordable health care for all Californians. As a coalition organization representing consumer groups, communities of color, immigrants, people with disabilities, children, seniors, women, people of faith, and organized labor, Health Access seeks to connect grassroots organizing to policy work, on-the-ground mobilization with savvy Sacramento strategy. Health Access undertakes community organizing and education, research and policy analysis, and advocacy to benefit health care consumers, both insured and uninsured. Health Access represents consumers—insured, uninsured, under-insured—at the California Legislature, at administrative and regulatory agencies, in the media, and in public forums. Health Access hold the health care industry accountable, from insurers to drug companies to doctors and hospitals, and that health care consumers are also represented in critical policy discussions in the Capitol and elsewhere. With offices in Sacramento, Oakland, and Los Angeles, Health Access serves a statewide constituency.

Providing people with knowledge, skills and strategies to make social systems and policies more equitable for Black people and communities. Our Vision is to organize individuals, families and the organizations that serve them, into communities empowered with skills to advance social equity and justice, with a focus on Black individuals and families.

Herd & Flock Animal Sanctuary was founded to provide animals rescued from the meat, egg and dairy industries with a safe haven where they can live out their lives in peace. Our supporters & community can connect with and learn about the needs of healthy, happy farm animals by getting to know our residents. They are ambassadors helping to raise awareness of the individual worth and dignity of all animals. Herd & Flock aims to educate about and promote the reduction of animal products in our lives, and advocates for a plant-based diet and lifestyle.
