Homies empowerment started as a place that gathered young gang folks to be able to help them create peace and heal and thrive. Then Homies empowerment is currently working on creating a school that would teach the roots where a person of color comes from. Ever since the pandemic they decided to create a freedom store which is a place where they help provide food and utilities for low income families.
