In partnership with our families, HPP works to break the cycle of childhood poverty by empowering low-income and homeless families—particularly mothers motivated by pregnancy and parenthood—to find within themselves the strength and confidence they need to transform their lives.

Homies Empowerment is a youth development organization that is located in Oakland,California. Homies empowerment started as a place that gathered young gang folks to be able to help them create peace and heal and thrive. Then Homies empowerment is currently working on creating a school that would teach the roots where a person of color comes from. Ever since the pandemic they decided to create a freedom store which is a place where they help provide food and utilities for low income families.

The Housing Authority of the City of Alameda (AHA) advocates for and provides quality, affordable, safe housing; encourages self-sufficiency; and builds community partnerships. For over 80 years, AHA has provided a range of housing assistance to low-income households in this San Francisco Bay Area city of 76,000. AHA's vision is to continue to be recognized for creatively seeking ways to expand the availability of affordable housing throughout Alameda, for caring professional staff, and excellent service. Its guiding principles commit the agency to building engaged, supportive communities through ongoing collaboration with customers and community partners. 

Our mission is to heal people through state-of-the-art recovery devices and modalities, giving the body what it needs to heal itself. We specialize in hot/cold therapy and recovery tactics to strengthen and mobilize the body, effectively combating inflammation, pain, postural deviations, and other physical ailments.

Our church is a local bilingual Christian community committed to strengthening families in their faith in God while also promoting overall well-being. We believe spiritual growth and mental health go hand in hand, and we actively seek to increase awareness and provide support in both areas. As a church, we strive to be a place where individuals and families can find encouragement, resources, and opportunities to grow spiritually, emotionally, and relationally. Through community partnerships and service, we aim to make a positive impact by nurturing strong families, building resilience, and fostering hope in our community.

The In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) program provides in-home assistance to eligible aged, blind, and disabled individuals as an alternative to out-of-home care and enables recipients to remain safely in their own homes.

Independent Living Resources is a non-profit organization serving the Solano and Contra Costa Counties. We are dedicated to the well-being of any individual with a disability and strive to give individuals living with a disability the opportunity for a normal, independent lifestyle. Through educational empowerment and advocacy, Independent Living Resources’ main goal is to incorporate those with disabilities into the community- eliminating all institutional, social, and attitudinal barriers that hinder progress. Independent Living Resources offers services free of charge for persons with disabilities and seniors, their families and the agencies which serve them.

We are the centralized IT division at Cal State East Bay, which serves all the technological needs of our students, faculty, and staff.
