Sheriffs Fútbol Club is a competitive soccer club in the East Bay, California, incubated as a FreeToPlay programs since 2017. Most players and families are based in the Ashland, Cherryland, and San Lorenzo area. In December of 2023 the club lost all of its funding and has become a PayToPlay model club to complete the Spring of 2024 season. The club has grown to 20 teams ages 7-17 who play in three main platforms - MLSNext U13 and U14, Norcal Premier NPL Boys, and Norcal Premier Region 3/4 for our younger age teams. Our dedicated coaching staff provide top-level coaching to our youth players. A typical Sheriffs FC player "has great passion for the game" and "wants to get better every day"!! We believe sports is transformational. Athletes are taught to test their limits, time management, how to develop connections and bonds, and skills that prepare them for life on and off the field. Our SheriffsFC coaches work with the players and parents to educate them on ways to improve the player's skill level and their understanding of the game. ​ Learning happens when our kids have fun and when they can be creative, yet are guided with specific aims for their age group development.

The purpose of Shinzen Friendship Garden, Inc. shall be to aid and assist in the development, maintenance, operation, expansion, protection and preservation of a Japanese Garden situated within the boundaries of Woodward Park, a regional park owned by the City of Fresno, California.

SWB creates positive team communities for recently arrived refugee and immigrant youth. Harnessing the power of soccer as a universal language, SWB engages newcomer, English Language Learning youth from more than 25 countries. As youth adjust to their new and often difficult circumstances, their SWB team provides an avenue for positive engagement. In a safe and supportive environment, youth build meaningful friendships, community connections and powerful mentor/mentee relationships, which play an important role in their successful integration into their new lives in the US.
