Founded in 1988, the Middle East Children's Alliance (MECA) is a nonprofit organization working for the rights and well being of children in the Middle East by delivering aid, supporting community programs in Palestine, providing university scholarships, and educating people in the US about the lives and right of children in the region. MECA welcomes the support of all people who care about children and their future.

We are here in the office, M-F from 9-5pm -and a student volunteer is welcome to come into MECA and volunteer for us during these times. MECA, also keeps a list of volunteers which we use to ask volunteers for help, at times, on the weekends for in the evening for special MECA events. We always ask if a person wishes to be placed on this list or not.
