Edna Brewer Middle School (OUSD)

The underlying goal of the Brewer Music Department is to build character through the learning, playing and performing of music together. We will also be learning music theory and notation. Composition and arranging will be incorporated into the curriculum in advanced level classes. The program of study is designed to develop the individual musician’s discipline and personal perception as a performer while at the same time personal perception as a performer while at the same time understanding their particular role within an ensemble.
