Organization Description

Women and Families Ascending Association (W.A.F.A.A Organization) provides a variety of services to those in need, including: emergency housing, food pantry and shelter, crisis intervention therapy, legal assistance, immigration services, parenting classes, and counseling sessions. It is stated that “Our mission is to strengthen families and the community through education in order to reduce isolation, build connections within and between families, and throughout the community,” (WAFAA Organization, 2024). W.A.F.A.A primarily serves those within the north NJ area, as it is located in Paterson, NJ.
